4 Ways I Hope To Inspire My Audience

This blog is my own personal story through Stage 2 Breast Cancer, literally from diagnosis right through the treatment and into post-cancer life. But there is so much more to me than cancer, and I want to explore with you just what this diagnosis means to me, how much it changes my life, and how I am going to get through it, together with my family.

I hope to inspire you in 4 ways as you join me on this journey:

Journal my journey with Stage 2 Breast Cancer; be real and vulnerable, discussing what helps and what doesn’t.

  • My main focus is going to be on my cancer, how it affects me and my family, and how to help others through this period. I want to explore what works for me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually here, so I can encourage and inspire others. I also will talk about what you can do and say to help others walking this journey in your life – it is a difficult time, and sometimes it is hard to know the right words to say. Let me help you with this, so you can help others around you.

Encourage other cancer survivors.

  • I want to inspire others to try something new in their journey, and talk to others about what has helped them. In time I may consider setting up a community of survivors who can encourage and inspire those around them, and lift each other up on those really rough days.

Encourage others in their faith.

  • My faith is a vital part of my life and this journey, even if you aren’t facing a cancer disgnosis; everyone goes through rough patches. My hope is that by reading these words I share, you will find hope in the dark times in your life as well.

Encourage other writers and poets to share their own words to inspire.

  • I have been writing as long as I have been able to hold a pen, and I have processed the hard times through poetry since I was a teenager. I know there are many others out there who do the same thing, and like me over the years, have kept it hidden… may I inspire you to share with us, YOUR words, so we may laugh and cry together, on this journey called life.

Conclusion
Despite this blog post being a personal documentation of my own journey with cancer, I also hope it is an inspiration to you as well. Whether you are a cancer survivor, or you love someone who has cancer, perhaps you are walking your own dark road and need a little encouragement and hope, or maybe you just need a little bit of inspiration to share your own words. Whatever your situation, I hope you find what you’re looking for here.
